Trisha has a new role to play. We are not talking about her next character in some film, but one in real life. She has been conferred the UNICEF celebrity advocate status for child rights and will be working towards the rights of children, including adolescents, and will lend her support to efforts addressing anemia, child marriage, child labor and abuse faced by many kids, especially in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Interestingly, this is a first for a south film actress.
