Ranchi / Dhanbad, JNN The team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Bokaro in Jharkhand and Durgapur in West Bengal besides companies affiliated to Neerav Modi and his uncle Mehul Choksi, the mastermind of the Crores scam in Punjab National Bank. The documents of both the companies of Gitanjali James are also being investigated. The enforcement of the Enforcement Directorate is in progress. From 10 o'clock on Saturday morning, ED team raided jewelry shops in Jharkhand-Bengal. Collected many documents. The raids are still on.
According to official sources of the Enforcement Directorate, the owners of these jewellery shops had taken the franchisees of Gitanjali Jewelers, whose owners are Neerav Modi and Mehul Choksi. But, most of the jewelry stores have ended the franchise period. The team of Enforcement Directorate in Ranchi went to the raids in the constellation Jewelers near the Hotel Capitol Hill. The team got information that Gitanjali James had ended his franchise some years ago. He has no business with this disputed company. The team of Enforcement Directorate in Bokaro raided the Gitanjali Jewelers. This establishment is operating in Harshvardhan Plaza, whose mistress is Nisha Agarwal. ED has collected several important documents from here.
